FAQs

  • Root canal treatment is a common and routine procedure that’s done to save the tooth and relieve pain. With modern techniques and anesthetics, the process is typically very comfortable, and you’ll likely feel little to no discomfort during the procedure itself.

Dr. Rami will guide you through the process step by step, answering any questions along the way, so you’re never left in the dark. If you have any concerns about the procedure, we encourage you to talk about your concerns upfront, so our team can take extra care to make you feel as at ease as possible. The goal is to make it as smooth and stress-free as possible!

  • Years ago, that might have been true, but with today’s advanced technology and anesthetics, you’ll feel no more discomfort than you would during a routine filling. Some soreness after the treatment is not uncommon and can usually be managed with over-the-counter pain medications.

  • Typically, no time off is required. The procedure is usually performed in the midst of your daily schedule. You can go to the gym, run, jog, or perform any routine you typically do

You can drive yourself to and from the appointment as there is no need for general anesthesia during the treatment.

  • Endodontists are dentists who have undergone a minimum of two extra years of specialized training in root canal treatments. Since our practice focuses solely on endodontics, we perform only root canal procedures daily. As specialists in this field, we are highly skilled in diagnosing and treating even the most complex cases with precision. Our practice is equipped with cutting-edge technology such as the dental microscope, 3D X-ray imaging and dental lasers.

  • Though the Board certification process is a rigorous task, it is a worthwhile and rewarding endeavor. Becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics places an endodontist in a distinguished group of endodontists who have demonstrated exceptional knowledge and skill, dedication to continued professional growth, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of patient care.

In 2023, Dr. Rami has joined the elite 20% of endodontists in the U.S to reach the pinnacle of the endodontic speciality by becoming a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a board-certified practicing endodontist.
